Having a Blog Has Finally Paid Off!

I got my first marriage proposal! Take THAT Rupert Everett!

Thank you KingsFan. One day I'll tell you how I nearly broke my finger on an errant puck at a hockey game. That ought to seal the deal. :)

But that's only if you tell me the long story about how you happened upon my blog...

Well, it may not be that long of a story, but let's just say that when you finally meet a Bronco fan-Diet Coke drinking-Get Smart watching-bowling-cat owning-Jimmy Kimmel watching-supermodel, one can consider it a long journey. I happened upon your blog in a roundabout way. Being a daily Bean's blog reader, I found Kimmy's blog (because I though she was hot) and then I noticed a comment by you. I like to read the comments and sometimes see who the author of the comments are. And then I stumbled upon you. Are you telling me I now have competition with Rupert Everett? Bring it on!

I'd like your hockey story now, please.

Dear Kings Fan:

I should get it all out in the open. I'm not actually a professional bowler - but I can keep score without an electronic scoreboard. When I wrote "supermodel", I wrote it with my tongue-in-cheek font that doesn't really translate to the written word. Everything else is all honest - especially Kimmy being a babe...which were technically your words but I second that emotion. Oh and I do have a hockey story - albeit a short one...was sitting behind the goal at a Rangers game when I lived in NYC...a shot on goal went from the stick right over the glass and right into the forehead of the girl in front of me, who went down and out cold. Richocheted off her forehead and into my finger, which is still bent to this day. Pretty sad, huh?

First off, that's what you get for going to a Rangers game in the first place. Now me, I'm a die-hard Islanders fan and trust me, I've died pretty hard the last several years. Secondly, keeping score at bowling without the electronic assistance is impressive - kudos. Thirdly, aren't we all supermodels - in our own way? So... (he said with tongue out of cheek), this was your first proposal, huh? 'Splain.

Why was I at a Rangers game? Two words: FREE TICKETS!

And you are right, we ARE all supermodels.
